IceGiant Launches Equity Crowdfunding Campaign!

Through StartEngine's equity crowdfunding platform, IceGiant looks to raise its seed round with help from the public.

Austin, TX (2022): CPU cooler manufacturer IceGiant has launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on the crowdfunding platform StartEngine to raise their seed round. StartEngine's platform allows anybody from the general public to purchase shares in the startup without being an accredited investor. This round of funding will allow IceGiant to expand its team and accelerate product development.

IceGiant’s equity crowdfunding campaign is launched under Regulation CF. Legalized in 2016, Regulation CF allows startups like IceGiant to raise capital from the public through an SEC-registered intermediary like StartEngine. With StartEngine, IceGiant’s ownership will be composed of people that IceGiant products are made for: PC enthusiasts, creative professionals, overclockers, and gamers.

“IceGiant had previously raised capital through an angel investor but has had several inquiries regarding investment from our community,” said IceGiant CEO Oscar Martinez when asked about their decision to utilize Regulation CF. “We saw it as the perfect way to raise needed funding and enable our community to own a piece of our company. This way, we could grow closer to our community, provide a deeper experience as we pursue our objectives, and raise the funding we need to take the next steps towards company growth.”

Through StartEngine’s platform, IceGiant is able to offer incentives and rewards for investors. Depending on the tier of the investment, investors are eligible for exclusive merchandise, such as shirts, zip hoodies, caps, and drinkware. Investors are also eligible to receive bonus shares depending on the tier that they invest at or if they invest during an ‘Early Bird’ period. Lastly, investors on the StartEngine platform that already own shares of StartEngine are eligible for a bonus as well.
